Thank you to all our food services staff for everything you do! #TigerPride

Koia and Chester are asking for donations to give to area animal shelters. All of our buildings have dog houses in the main entrance areas, and our four-legged friends would love to see them full of supplies! They all say woof, woof, thank you!

The weather looks good! Get a clean car and support our Tiger musicians!

Thank you to BSA Troop 284 for planning and donating food to the UE Food Center, in collaboration with the Catholic Church that charters the Troop (Church of the Holy Family) and the local neighborhood. They collected 370 lbs of food for our families!

Dine-in or take-out...either way you don't have to cook and you're helping support our Tigers hockey team.
Anyone interested in becoming a board of education member is invited to attend this workshop on April 3.

Congratulations to a number of student musicians who were selected for the BCMEA Festival II, held this past weekend at Binghamton University. All students were selected based on their auditions. After less than two days of rehearsal, they put on a fantastic concert. Congratulations on an excellent musical experience!

Last week, the U-E Family Support Center (FSC) hosted Agency Day, a partnership with local agencies and organizations to share services provided at the center.
Organized by Allison Sovie, a second-year MSW candidate at Binghamton University, the event brought together 40 different agencies that provide a variety of services and assistance in our community.
Please call 607-757-2501 for more information on the FSC and how it can help support families and the needs of the greater community.

During February students in Liz Scalcione’s global studies class worked on a skill-based research project studying prominent Black figures.
Students used NEWSELA articles to create an “An Enduring Issue” presentation. To start, students decided on an ‘enduring’ issue, then researched past and present black figures, picking one figure to study. Using NEWSELA, they created a Screencastify recording and slide presentation. They introduced their enduring issue and the prominent person they researched. They had to demonstrate the obstacles and challenges faced by this individual, how they overcame those obstacles and challenges, and their influence in our country, whether it be past or present.
This link takes you to a slide show that represents a small sample of students who wanted to share their presentations.
