On Friday, October 23, representatives from the Town of Union and Cornell Cooperative Extension visited Tiger Ventures, touring the various projects, initiatives, and programs currently being offered by the school, thanks to their grant funding. Tiger Ventures administrators, along with Tom Mitchell, Coordinator for the U-E Family Support Center, guided the guests to various areas of interests around of the school grounds while explaining their uses and future plans.
Some of these areas included the West Corners Food Pantry, Sip N' Drip Cafe, Courtyard, Community Garden, and Food Lab.
The tour of Tiger Ventures also served as a 'Thank You' to the Town of Union, Sheriff's Office, and Cornell Cooperative Extension for their generosity and cooperation over the past year.
As is tradition throughout U-E, Tiger Pride day is observed every Friday. Staff and aforementioned guests wore newly printed Tiger Ventures swag and posed in front of the Tiger Mosaic mural!
Tiger Ventures, along with the entire U-E district, would like to thank the Town of Union and Cornell Cooperative Extension for investing in U-E students and caring for our community.
