JFS Students and Staff Recognized at Monday’s BOE Meeting

Numerous students and staff members were recognized for their accomplishments during Monday’s Board of Education meeting at JFS.

JFS Principal Sara Morley, while standing beside Associate Principal Robert Malvasio and Assistant Principal Catherine DuBrava, read aloud the names of each honoree and highlighted the achievements that earned them recognition. The acknowledgments celebrated a wide range of accomplishments and contributions from members of the JFS community.

Following each recognition, the honorees were invited to the front of the room, where they had the opportunity to shake hands with each member of the Board. The personal congratulations from the board members provided a memorable moment for the students and staff being recognized.

The honorees included Mrs. Bass, Ms. Carey, Emerson Budd, Evan Hoskins, Jacob LaRusch, McKenna Murphy, Shelby Cornelius, Silas Case, Dion Aramis Mendoza, Cameron Robinson, Harnoor Kaur, Landon Brown, Lyriq Viechweg, Rolan Humiston, Ryan Sackett and Wilmer Esquivel Giron.

By recognizing these individuals publicly, the BOE and school administrators highlighted the many ways students and staff continue to contribute to the success and improvement of JFS.
