Recently, seven UEHS students put their coding skills to the test at the annual Lockheed Martin Code Quest, a programming competition where teams of two to three high school students collaborate to solve a series of challenges using programming skills.
To prepare, students dedicated time outside of class to practice and sharpen their skills. Competing against five other schools from across the state, U-E teams delivered an outstanding performance, earning all three trophies in the novice division.
A special thank you to UEHS math teacher Eric Bill (pictured with his students) for his support both in and out of the classroom, and to Lockheed Martin for providing students with the opportunity to apply their skills in a real-world setting.
Congratulations to these students for taking on and excelling in this academic challenge.
