Union-Endicott staff came together for the district’s Superintendent’s Conference Day, centered on the theme “Rooted in Purpose, Growing in Impact.” The day offered educators time to reflect, recharge, and gain practical tools to support both their professional work and personal well-being.
Held at UEHS, the event welcomed staff from across the district. The day began with opening
remarks from Superintendent Dr. Nicole Wolfe, who spoke about the importance of staying grounded in purpose while continuing to grow as educators and leaders for students. The program featured several sessions tailored to different grade levels and academic areas of focus, as well as discussions on the district’s Portrait of a Graduate initiative for grades 6–12, and presentations on literacy assessments and reporting practices for grades K–5. The conference concluded with an opportunity
for staff to take part in wellness activities designed to promote balance and self-care.
In addition, several UEHS students spent the afternoon volunteering at the Diversity Café. Students took online orders, prepared coffee/refresher drinks, and served them. It was a chance for them to showcase the work they’ve been doing all year to help create a welcoming space for both students and staff.
Thank you to Tommi Kazmark, Ashlyn Beverly, London Glenn, Madison Beckett, Angelina Evans, Jamar Smith, and Kyler Hwalek for their time and dedication.
Overall, the day provided a meaningful mix of professional learning and collaboration, reinforcing the district’s commitment to supporting educators so they can continue making a positive impact in the classroom and beyond.
