The UEHS Italian Club recently shared some early springtime cheer with members of the community. Club officers visited a local nursing home, where they spent time reading short stories and poems to help brighten the residents’ evening.
In preparation for the visit, Italian Club members created thoughtful spring cards for 38 residents, each one filled with positive messages and well wishes. They also assembled small gifts to share. The cheerful cups were decorated with drawings, colorful stickers, and bows, and filled with sweet treats.
The visit captured the spirit of the season, spreading warmth, kindness, and plenty of smiles.
Thank you to Matthew Roma, Izabella Moss, Gianna Balanda, Grace Judge, and Nola Burke for representing the Italian Club and sharing their time with the community.
