The Broome County District Attorney’s Office hosted a regional competition challenging high school students to create short videos promoting safe social media use. The contest empowered teens to use their voices and creativity to encourage responsible, healthy online behavior.
All 15 local school districts submitted videos under two minutes in length. The top three finalists were announced at a Black Bears hockey game on Youth Community Hockey Night, with the UEHS 
Student Athlete Advisory Committee earning top honors. Representatives from the District Attorney’s Office later visited the students to present medals and a Black Bears hockey jersey signed by the team.
