Over the weekend, the Union-Endicott Cheerleading Program proudly hosted its annual Chill Vibes Cheer Invitational, welcoming more than 35 teams from across the region. As part of this special event, we were honored to recognize our alumni while celebrating over 75 years of Union-Endicott Cheerleading.
Union-Endicott Cheerleading is built on a legacy of Tiger Pride and excellence. For more than seven decades, this program has represented what it truly means to wear the orange and black, hard work, resilience, leadership, and pride that extends far beyond the mat.
We celebrate the alumni who paved the way, set the standard, and laid the foundation for the program we proudly stand on today.
Many of our alumni continue to give back to the sport and to our program as youth and high school coaches, cheerleading judges, mentors, and supporters, as well as through cheerleading scholarships that support graduating seniors. Because of you, this program continues to grow. Because of you, Tiger Pride is stronger than ever.
As our Varsity team prepares to take the national stage next week at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Florida, the varsity team extend their deepest gratitude for the continued support, belief, and tradition that our alumni pass down. This season alone, over 85 alumni helped support our team’s journey. While many now live across the country, we were truly honored to recognize and celebrate those alumni who were able to attend this recognition ceremony in person.
While Union-Endicott Cheerleading’s championship history spans decades and is proudly displayed on the gym banners, the program has continued to build on that tradition in recent years. Since 2012, under the current coaching leadership, Union-Endicott Cheerleading has earned 1 National Championship title, 8 Top-5 finalist finishes at the NYSPHSAA State Cheerleading Championships, 11 Section IV Championships, and 13 STAC Conference Championships.
These accomplishments reflect not only competitive success, but the consistency, dedication, and standard of excellence that continue to define the Union-Endicott Cheerleading program—honoring the legacy of those who came before while pushing the program forward for future generations. Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger.
