On Saturday, January 24, members of the JFS National Junior Honor Society, along with their advisors Mrs. Jamie Bell and Ms. Cheryl Davis, volunteered their time at the Broome County Humane Society as part of their yearlong service project.
Students supported the shelter in many ways, including washing and folding laundry, cleaning
dishes, bagging dog food, and spending time with animals waiting to be adopted. Their efforts helped keep the shelter running smoothly while giving comfort and attention to the animals.
It was a meaningful day of service that reflected the group’s commitment to helping the community.
