Seventh graders from Emily Hungarter, Dina Barney, and Kim Johnson’s English classes visited the Cider Mill Stage to see A Christmas Carol. The trip followed several weeks of reading the story in the ELA classes, a key part of the seventh-grade curriculum at JFS.
Seeing the play gave students a chance to compare the original text with its stage version. Broome-Tioga BOCES Arts in Education funding made the trip possible.
Students enjoyed hot chocolate and donuts during the visit. Thank you, Cider Mill, for hosting a memorable outing.
