CFJ celebrated its dedicated staff members and brave leaders before the start of the regular board of education meeting held at the school on December 8. recognizing the people who help make the 
school a warm and welcoming place. The evening opened with a performance by the 5th grade chorus and closed with a kindness-themed skit by student council members.
The school also honored members of the Student Council who regularly meet with the principal and assistant principal to discuss concerns and share ideas to make school more engaging for their classmates. CFJ continues to prioritize student voice, and this event highlighted the important role students play in shaping their school community.
In addition, three UEHS student athletes were recognized. Nick Luti (cross country) and Alex Bierworth (golf) for their postseason successes, and Ryan Schappert for representing U-E at the state-wide student athlete conference held at the JMA Wireless Dome at Syracuse University.
