CFJ first graders in Therese Yacobelli’s class completed an in-depth study of the Mayflower's voyage from England to the New World. They read books, watched documentaries, reviewed testimonials, and created several art projects about the Mayflower and its sister ship, the Speedwell. Each classmate wrote a personal report.
Before the Thanksgiving break, every student presented their report to the class. They did a great job standing in front of everyone to read aloud and share what they had learned.
