On Saturday, September 6, members of Endicott Post 82’s Senior and Junior Legion teams joined fellow New York State American Legion programs at Yankee Stadium to celebrate the 100th 
anniversary of American Legion Baseball.
Founded in 1925, American Legion Baseball has provided generations of young athletes in Endicott—and across the nation—with the opportunity to develop their skills and passion for the game.
As part of the celebration, players, families, and coaches took part in an on-field parade before the Blue Jays vs. Yankees matchup. Some participants were even featured on the Yankee broadcast during the festivities. Each player also received a special commemorative Yankees cap featuring the 100th Anniversary American Legion Baseball logo.
It was a memorable day for all in attendance, marking a milestone in one of the country’s most enduring youth baseball programs.
