Over three days, the district rolled out the welcome mat for its newest Tigers at the Kindergarten Jump Start program. Designed to ease the transition into school, the program gives kindergartners a head start before the first official day of classes.
Students got the chance to:
• Meet their teachers and classmates
• Explore their classrooms
• Practice navigating the cafeteria
• Tour the school building
The experience helps children feel more comfortable and confident walking through the doors on the first day. For many, Jump Start is the first taste of being part of the Tiger community—making friends, learning routines, and getting excited about what’s ahead.
By the time school officially begins, these young Tigers will already know their way around and feel at home in their new learning environment.
