After wrapping up their unit on Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drugs, health students at UEHS took their learning beyond the classroom and out to the main entrance of the building. Armed with buckets of sidewalk chalk and prevention messages, the students "chalked the walk" with bold, creative, and impactful anti-drug messages.
Lining the walkways outside the school, their artwork featured powerful slogans, colorful illustrations, and inspiring words meant to catch the eyes—and minds—of their peers. Each message was rooted in the knowledge they had gained during the unit, reinforcing the importance of making healthy, substance-free choices.
From motivational quotes to clever wordplay, their designs reflected both imagination and purpose. More than just a class project, it became a visual campaign—one that encouraged positive decision-making, peer support, and a shared commitment to wellness. Through chalk, they sparked conversation and connection, proving that sometimes, simple tools can deliver powerful messages.
