Congratulations to seventh grader McKenna Murphy for earning first place in the WSKG Student Writing Challenge!
McKenna’s award-winning free-verse poem, The Perfect World, impressed judges with its creativity, thoughtfulness, and strong writing. Her achievement highlights both her talent as a writer and the dedication she brings to her craft.
As part of the recognition, McKenna attended the WSKG celebration, where she received a certificate honoring her accomplishment.
“McKenna is an amazing writer, and it is wonderful to see her recognized for her talent and hard work,” said her teacher, Tricia Wirth.
