Congratulations to 30 JFS 8th grade French students who participated in this year’s National French Contest (Grand Concours), sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. The contest aligns with the World Readiness Standards for learning languages and assesses students’ listening and reading comprehension skills in French.
Five students earned medals for placing among the Top 20 in the nation and the Top 10 in the region. Bronze medalists: Juliet Adams, Jaxon Judge, and Arian Habib. Silver medalists: Riyo Chanthongthip and Mia Williams. To celebrate their accomplishments, all participants gathered after school for awards, delicious treats, and a French movie. #TigerPride
