Tiger Ventures students recently demonstrated leadership, collaboration and creativity as they welcomed JFS students during the Forge Your Future Middle School event. Serving as mentors and guides, Tiger Ventures students led visitors through a variety of hands-on, project-based learning experiences. JFS students designed custom T-shirts using the industrial heat press and worked in the Food Lab alongside Cornell Cooperative Extension to prepare snacks using ingredients sourced from the West Corners Food Pantry. The event showcased the real-world skills being developed through Tiger Ventures while giving students the opportunity to lead, teach and inspire the next generation of learners.
