Students in Amy Paolini’s class at GFJ Elementary are gaining hands-on experience in communication, organization, math, and teamwork through their “Bagel Buddies” program. With generous bagel donations from Best Bagels of Endwell, students manage weekly staff orders by creating forms, organizing spreadsheets, preparing deliveries, counting money, and writing thank-you notes to supporters.
On bagel delivery day, students practice customer service skills by delivering orders with kindness 
and professionalism using their custom-designed “Bagel Mobile.”
Through the program, students have also learned the importance of giving back, raising more than $500 for the Broome County Animal Shelter.
