Mrs. Jessica Buchman’s kindergarten class and Mrs. Ashley Mills’ third-grade class at CFJ recently partnered for a social-emotional learning activity focused on understanding and managing emotions. After reading The Color Monster, students discussed healthy ways to cope with big feelings and support emotional regulation. Working together with their partners, the students then created sensory bottles designed to help calm and ease emotions.
