CFJ around the world

CFJ recently brought its school community together for the second Around the World Festival of Learning, a multicultural fair that celebrated the diverse cultures represented at the school.

Families and students shared their heritage through food, photos, clothing, artifacts, and traditional treats. Tables showcased vibrant cultures from Italy, Phillipines, Bangladesh, Greece, Mexico, El Salvador, Russia and Jamaica.

The evening also included hands-on, culturally inspired crafts like Ojo de Dios (God's Eye) from Central & South America, Rain Sticks from Central America, Boishakhi Masks from Bangladesh, Rangoli from India, and Henna from Southeast Asia, giving students a fun and meaningful way to experience traditions from around the world. Live performances kept the energy up, from Irish dancing to a lively steel drum band.

The food was a standout. Traditional dishes from different cultures filled the room, and every bite was memorable.

Local community organizations were there as well, connecting with families and sharing helpful resources and support.
