Holiday cheer filled the halls at CFJ as students from Mrs. Kristin Lemon-Hoyt’s kindergarten class teamed up with their fifth-grade buddies from Mrs. Casee Guasconi’s class for a few weeks of festive fun and community building.
Each kindergartener was paired with a fifth grader to build and decorate gingerbread houses, turning teamwork into a sweet holiday tradition. The buddies also shared stories, with kindergarteners proudly reading their own creations while fifth graders chose and read favorite holiday books. The experience brought students together across grade levels and created meaningful moments of connection, creativity, and holiday spirit.
