At the August Board of Education meeting, members proudly announced the naming of the U-E cross country course and finish line in honor of two beloved coaches and mentors, Larry Hynes and Bob Osborne, whose influence continues to shape generations of runners.
On October 25, before the start of the STAC meet at AGM, Coach Dan Bertoni and the cross country team held a heartfelt ceremony celebrating their memory. The course and finish line were formally dedicated as the Hynes Hill Cross Country Course and the Bob “Ozzy” Osborne Finish Line, honoring two remarkable men whose passion, leadership, and dedication built the foundation of the strong running tradition we celebrate today.
Their legacy lives on with every stride.
