Music students honored with award
Two sixth-grade students from Jennie F. Snapp are the recipients of the R. Crawford Stahl Instrumental Solo Award. Meghan Walton on bass clarinet and Kaitlyn Mosteller on cello, were recently honored with this award during a board of education meeting. 
Young students learn about emergency services
Kindergarten through third grade students at AGM got a firsthand look at what emergency personnel do when members of the West Corners Fire Department and Union Volunteer Emergency Squad visited as part of National EMS week, May 18-22. 
Students in chorus earn gold
Congratulations to the sixth grade chorus for earning gold at the NYSSMA Major Organization Evaluation Festival.

Student wins writing contest
She is a young writer already finding success. Seventh grader Adrianna Lynch won the state-wide competition of the Tri-Cities Woman's Club Writing Contest.

Jennie F. Snapp eighth-grade students had the chance to research and assume the personality of their favorite author for their Author Fair on May 14. 
Important college information
Sophomores and juniors, it may seem far away, but college is just around the corner. To help you and your parents navigate this exciting but sometimes overwhelming process, the guidance department invites you to College Information Night, 6:30 p.m., May 28 in the high school auditorium. 
Bus road-eo tests drivers
This rodeo was not your typical rodeo…rather it was a ROAD-EO.
The school bus Road-eo is an event held each year locally that tests the skills of bus drivers.
