Baseball camp a success
The Boys JV and Varsity Baseball teams recently hosted a baseball camp for students ages seven to 12.  
JFS teacher published
JFS teacher Susan Thornton recently had her short story, "Boarder Crossing," published in the 2016 edition of “The Best American Mystery Stories.” 
Project Lead the Way at TJW
TJW students in Joshua Donovick's fifth-grade class recently completed the Project Lead the Way course on robotics. 
UEHS students spend day immersed in French
UEHS Advanced French classes recently took part in Immersion Day at the University at Albany – SUNY.

JFS students recently celebrated National Foreign Language week by dedicating a day to Italian, Spanish, French, and personal heritage. 
Spoons tournament at JFS
A spoons tournament brought power to the purple as JFS Promise Zone hosted is 2nd Annual Spoons Tournament to bring awareness to suicide and suicide prevention. 
Boys intramural volleyball competes in tournament
For the first year, UE Boys Intramural Volleyball competed, participating in their first tournament at JC.  
Students learn about cultures through food
Students in Celia Randesi’s classes at JFS and UEHS celebrated foreign language week during the second annual “Culture through Food” lesson. 
Broadway actor comes to UEHS
Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis, the original Drew in the Broadway hit "Rock of Ages" conducted a master theater class with the UEHS cast who will be performing the high school version of the same title.
