Union-Endicott is proud to recognize the achievements of alumnus Joseph "Zarr" Zarzynski, a member of the UEHS Class of 1969, who recently presented a lecture for the Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance at the Fort William Henry Conference Center.
Zarr's lifelong commitment to learning, research, and education has made him a nationally recognized maritime archaeologist, historian, author, and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Throughout his distinguished career, he has documented more than 200 historic shipwrecks through underwater archaeological research, authored eight books, produced award-winning documentaries, and published more than 700 articles that have helped preserve and share history with audiences around the world.
His accomplishments reflect the power of curiosity, perseverance, and a passion for lifelong learning. Union-Endicott congratulates Zarr on his continued contributions to history and education and celebrates the lasting impact he has made as a proud U-E alumnus.
