Class of 2026

UEHS seniors Ava Crocker and Natalia Smith were awarded the Kenzie Jean Wheeler Memorial Scholarship in recognition of their efforts to promote child passenger safety.

The scholarship, presented by Ivy Jean Tennant in honor of her granddaughter, is awarded to students who design and complete projects that raise awareness about car safety for children. Through their work, Ava and Natalia demonstrated a commitment to educating others about the importance of keeping young passengers safe. Each student received a $1,000 scholarship.

In addition to recognizing the students, Ms. Tennant donated eight booster car seats to the district to be distributed to families in need, further supporting child safety within the community.

Congratulations to Ava and Natalia on this well-deserved honor and thanks to Ms. Tennant for her generosity and dedication to helping keep children safe.
