UEHS College Entrepreneurship students took their ideas from concept to company at the annual Startup Summit business plan competition held May 19 at SUNY Broome. Competing against students from the New Visions Business Academy and Windsor High School, students spent the school year developing businesses from the ground up; creating formal business plans, building brand concepts, and pitching their ventures to industry professionals and SUNY Broome business professors.

Their hard work and innovation paid off with several top finishes. Kennedy Ingraham and Laura Winslow earned first place with Riddle Rise, while Sneha Saha and Abhijeet Saha took third place with Class Buds alongside Ainsley Edwards with UDecide. Aubrey Salati and Connor Vizvary earned fourth place with Game Genius.

Throughout the competition, students showcased professionalism, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset of emerging business leaders. The event was made possible through the support of judges, breakout session leaders, SUNY Broome, Visions, and community sponsors including Visions, Put God First Foundation, Integris, The Agency, Koffman Southern Tier Incubator, BT BOCES, and SUNY Broome.
