New Visions

Three UEHS students participated in the Broome-Tioga BOCES New Visions Academy Health Symposium at the Binghamton University Nursing School. Isabella Troy, Julia Allen, and Emmalee Jobmann shared their research on various diseases, covering prevention, treatment, history, and future advancements.

During the Final Symposium, Health Academy students presented culminating posters focused on specific diseases or disorders and related advances in prevention, diagnosis, or treatment. Each project also examined a Social Determinant of Health and its impact on health outcomes.

Students presented their work to local superintendents, healthcare professionals, community members, and guests. Thank you to all who attended to support the students and celebrate their learning through coursework, clinical rotations, and research.
