The UEHS Veteran’s Club recently visited the Veterans Home in Oxford, NY for another meaningful day of service, connection, and community with residents. During the visit, students led a creative activity where residents decorated flowerpots and planted spider plants to help brighten their rooms. The afternoon also included several lively rounds of BINGO and plenty of time for conversation and laughter together.
It was especially meaningful to see many familiar faces from the 
club’s fall visit return once again. With each visit, the relationships between students and veterans continue to grow stronger. Residents enjoy sharing stories and life experiences, while students value the opportunity to listen, learn, and give back to those who have served our country.
