On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the 52nd Annual Health Professionals and Employee Scholarship Banquet, UEHS senior Isabella Troy was honored as one of 14 recipients selected from across multiple counties in New York and Pennsylvania to receive the prestigious Guthrie Health Professions Scholarship Award.
Recipients were chosen by a panel of healthcare professionals including doctors, physician assistants, and medical personnel from hundreds of applicants based on academic achievement, educator recommendations, and demonstrated interest in the medical field.
The Guthrie Health Professions Scholarship is awarded to students planning to enroll at an accredited college or university while pursuing careers in healthcare fields such as medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, or medical research.
Each scholarship is valued at $1,000 per year, totaling up to $4,000 over four years of undergraduate study.
