Bagels and belonging

The UEHS Diversity Café kicked off its first Bagels & Belonging, and it truly showcased what this space is all about.

Thanks to the generosity of Best Bagels in Town, who will be donating bagels every Monday, our students can now look forward to Bagels & Belonging each Tuesday. That simple act of kindness is doing more than filling stomachs. It helps students feel welcome and cared for in a space Bagels and belongingcreated for, and by, students.

During approved study halls and lunch periods, students can come in, sit with friends, take a breath, and reset. They can grab a bite, catch up on homework, read, talk, or simply exist without pressure for a little while. That kind of space matters. Not every student has somewhere they feel they fully belong during lunch or free parts of the day.

Bagels & Belonging brings smiles and plenty of conversation, but more importantly, it helps Bagels and belongingstrengthen a growing sense of community. Bagels & Belonging is about more than food. It’s about making sure every student knows there is a place for them.
