The UEHS World Language Clubs spent an unforgettable day in New York City. Students set off early in the morning with fresh donuts in hand, excited for the adventure ahead. Once in the city, they explored some of its most iconic landmarks, including Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Times Square, Broadway, and Bryant Park where they took in the festive atmosphere of the Christmas shops. Each language club celebrated its culture with a themed lunch featuring French, Italian, or Cuban cuisine. The highlight of the day was the performance of "Buena Vista Social Club", a vibrant musical that had the audience dancing in their seats. It was an amazing cultural experience for the students.
