Karly Smith exemplifies UE Tiger Pride. She is a Union-Endicott graduate whose dedication, compassion, and excellence continue to make her hometown district proud.
A member of the UE Class of 2019, Karly went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John Fisher University in 2023. Since then, she has built an impressive career in women’s health and maternal care, serving as a vital part of the postpartum team at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Karly’s commitment to patient-centered care and her genuine compassion for mothers and newborns have earned her multiple honors, including several Strong Stars and two nominations for the prestigious DAISY Award. Her leadership extends beyond bedside care. She also serves as a preceptor for new nurses, guiding and supporting them as they begin their careers.
Now, as an OB clinical instructor at St. John Fisher University, Karly is shaping the next generation of nurses with the same energy, empathy, and excellence that have defined her own journey.
U-E is proud to celebrate Karly, a true example of UE Tiger Pride.
