As part of Board of Education Appreciation Week, we are very excited to recognize two student leaders who have stepped up to be the voices of U-E students.
Senior Colleen McGuinnes is the 2025-26 student board member. As the current UEHS senior class president, she brings strong leadership and a passion for student advocacy to the table. She will collaborate with students across the district to gather feedback, share ideas, and ensure that student voices are heard.
Tiger Ventures senior Olivia Galeano is the 2025-26 student board member alternate. She will attend board-related meetings and activities when Colleen is unavailable. Olivia has been an outstanding student in the Tiger Ventures community since 8th grade. She’s made a meaningful impact through her involvement in school plays, student government, and numerous other activities that bring positivity to the building.
We are very proud of these two students. They exemplify leadership and what it means to be a Tiger.
