It was a bittersweet morning as the Italian exchange students and their chaperones departed UEHS on October 10. During their time in Endicott, they toured UEHS and bonded with their American hosts over pizza, met with Endicott Mayor Nick Burlingame, and explored the Endicott Visitor Center to learn about the community’s history. Their visit also included a welcome dinner, trips to Cornell University and Niagara Falls, days spent alongside their American classmates, and fun local adventures like visiting the Cider Mill and going apple picking. And something they don’t experience in Italy, a high school pep rally full and homecoming parade full of Tiger Pride!
They left amid hugs, tears, and promises to see you soon when they reunite in Italy this April.
