NYSSMA majors

Congratulations to senior Eamonn Hubert, who has been invited to perform with three NYSSMA EamonnConference All-State ensembles this year: the Symphony Orchestra, the Vocal Jazz Ensemble (on guitar), and the Mixed Chorus. After careful consideration, he chose to join the Symphony Orchestra, which will perform on Sunday, December 6, at Kodak Hall, Eastman Theater in Rochester.

This marks Eamonn’s second consecutive year being selected for multiple All-State ensembles and his third year having an original composition featured in the Electronic Music & Songwriters Showcase—a rare and impressive achievement.

The NYSSMA All-State selection process is highly competitive, requiring months of preparation and mastery of some of the most challenging repertoire. Eamonn’s invitation is the result of his commitment, talent, and relentless dedication to his craft.

Beyond NYSSMA, Eamonn recently completed over 50 public performances this summer with his band Hot Dogs & Gin. He is also in his third and final season with both the U-E Marching Band and the Binghamton Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Eamonn extends his gratitude to his many music teachers who have been, in his words, truly “instrumental” in his journey as a musician.
