On Wednesday morning, student school board members from across Broome and Tioga Counties participated in a training seminar hosted by the New York State Education Department and the New York State School Boards Association.
The session focused on helping students understand their responsibilities as board members while providing tools and guidance to prepare them for the upcoming school year.
Union-Endicott High School senior Colleen McGuinness took part in the program, representing U-E in this leadership role. Her commitment highlights the important voice students bring to school board discussions and decisions.
