Our newest high school students had a chance to get a head start before the first day of school during Freshman Orientation. The program is designed to help ninth graders feel prepared, connected, and excited as they begin their high school journey.
During orientation, students:
Met their teachers and staff members
Discovered the many clubs and activities available
Practiced finding and opening their lockers
Walked through the building, following their class schedules
Connected with classmates during team-building activities
The day wrapped up with a sweet ending — an ice cream social where students could mingle and celebrate the start of this new chapter together.
Thank you to staff and upperclassmen who helped throughout the event, providing directions to classrooms, helping navigate schedules, and running the ice cream social.
