At the last meeting held on August 4, UEHS senior Colleen McGuinness was officially sworn in as the 2025–26 Student Board Member for the Union-Endicott Board of Education!
Starting this school year, all school districts in New York State are required to have a student board member—and U-E is proud to have Colleen step into this important role. As the current UEHS senior class president, she brings strong leadership and a passion for student advocacy to the table.
Colleen will collaborate with students across the district—including those in Tiger Ventures and all U-E buildings—to gather feedback, share ideas, and ensure that student voices are heard. She’ll play a key role in communicating student needs, concerns, and perspectives directly to the Board of Education members.
We’re excited to see the impact she’ll make throughout the year!
