Just months after Union-Endicott launched its first-ever girls’ golf team, the Tigers received an incredible boost—a $20,000 donation from the DICK’S Sporting Goods Sports Matter Foundation!
The team was presented with the check on stage at En-Joie Golf Club, just before the Maroon 5 concert at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open. Though the inaugural team didn’t compete in matches this season, the student-athletes dedicated their time to practicing and building the foundation for future competition. The goal is to officially compete against other schools beginning in the 2025–26 school year.
Plans for how the funds will be used are still being developed, but possibilities include purchasing new equipment and bringing in PGA-level coaching to support the team’s growth and success.
