CFJ learns the art of storytelling
CFJ students and staff learned about the art of storytelling when the mother daughter storytelling team "Stories Galorious" visited in January.
Students in grades K-5 enjoyed listening to the tales of "Wiley," "The Man in the Moon," "Sody-Salleratus" and other stories from around the world. The story tellers also provided professional development insights to faculty and staff so that students and teachers can become better storytellers. Storytelling, whether by students or to students, can be used to support state standards in ELA and other areas of instruction.
