Student-created cards spread cheer
students with cards
In the spirit of the holidays, students at JFS created homemade cards for residents in a local nursing home.

The craft station was open in the library through December 17. Students visited during lunch or free periods to decorate cards and write messages.

Over 240 cards were delivered residents of the Vestal Rehabilitation and Nursing Home by a local Daisy troop #60529. The girls were met with many smiles and a few happy tears from residents as they delivered each card.

Like so many projects our students participate in, community and collaboration are at the center. Thank you to all who helped spread holiday cheer.
