Students traveled through a world of science, with a passport in hand at CFJ’s Science Fair-STEAM Spectacular.
Science, technology, engineering, art and math ‘countries’ were stationed around the school and students, with passports in hand, traveled to each country to complete an experiment that focused on STEAM. With each experiment completed, the passport was stamped and students turned in their well-traveled passport for a chance to win raffle prizes.
The world of STEAM included lemon volcano, magnetic slime, spaghetti tower, cup stacking and other fun, hands-on experiments.
A big thanks to Melissa McNamara and John Ghosin-Szeliga for planning and organizing an amazing night! Thank you to CFJ staff and our UEHS seniors who volunteered their time to help serve pizza and run the various activities. Over 300 attended CFJ students and family members attended!
CFJ is grateful to Assembly Person Donnna Lupardo and the grant that made funding this event possible.
