What do you want to do when you grow up? Do you want to go to college, learn a trade, or go to work? These are just some of the questions CFJ students began to think about when about a dozen UEHS graduates visited to talk about the future.
College students rotated through classrooms to talk about what they have been doing since they graduated from UEHS. Wearing their college gear, they discussed their majors, living on campus, meeting new people, getting involved in campus life and how they decided what they wanted to do. They showed photos and videos of their respective campuses and answered questions about being in college.
Each student brought a different perspective on how they decided on their futures. The goal was to get young students to start thinking about what they will do when they leave U-E. And though these elementary students have a number of years before they graduate, the graduates emphasized that no matter where one goes after high school, it is important to maintain good grades and get involved in activities and clubs.
Thank you to these U-E grads who took the time to come share their experiences with CFJ students.
