Staff receive training on mental wellness
Recently, approximately 25 U-E staff members spent the day learning about mental health for our students in the Project375 training, a program founded by NFL All-Pro Brandon Marshall.
 
Project375 provides Youth Mental Health First Aid Training to schools across the country and U-E is the first district in New York state to participate in Project375's training.

As the new NYS Mental Health in education mandates continue to roll out, U-E is incredibly fortunate to have a head start on the Youth Mental Health First Aid Training. U-E currently has three in-house trainers from a Senator Akshar grant last year who have already run trainings for staff.
