Seniors win post-prom prizes

Members of the U-E senior class were given an opportunity to win Post-Prom prizes this month despite the event being canceled.

Unfortunately, senior prom was not able to take place due to the pandemic, but that didn't stop UEHS teacher and adviser Terre Trupp from making sure the donated prizes were still given to seniors.

Trupp created a Google form that was emailed to students to fill out. Students chose three prizes they were interested in winning. Students who completed the form had a chance to win flat-screen TVs, Fitbits, cameras, a wireless printer, an iPad, a Chromebook, and the grand prize was a Dell laptop package.

Trupp conducted the drawing at midnight, using a disco light and music (click here to see the video she created announcing the winners.)
She then personally delivered each prize to the winning students.

A BIG THANK YOU  to the following businesses who were able to donate money before the school closure. This event would not have been possible without these generous donations!

Endwell League of Community Action
Northminster Presbyterian Church
Broadway Diner
Delta Engineering
Visions
Taylor Garbage
UEHS Yearbook (donated money and yearbooks)

Thank you, Ms. Trupp, for all your efforts in keeping this going even when the actual prom could not be held.
