Pop-up sale a success

Dozens of shoppers visited the first Tiger Ventures Pop-up Sale held recently at Tiger Ventures.

Since the start of school sophomores in the Tiger Ventures Biz @ 31 business class have been working on starting their own business. The class is designed to teach students how to run a viable, successful business.

Using the new Build Space in the Tiger Ventures complex, students salvaged materials from last summer’s capital project renovations. With the collected salvaged materials, hand-crafted holiday and home décor were designed and built at Tiger Ventures by Tiger Ventures students. They also made cups and water bottles with their “Tiger Life” logo using the vinyl cutter in the makerspace.
Part of the proceeds will go to CHOW and part will go back into the business.
