Elementary students attend holiday gathering

The UEHS Key Club hosted its annual holiday party, providing crafts, dancing, gifts and lunch to nearly 150 k-5 students.
Elementary students were paired up with a high school student, making crafts and singing and dancing. Students made ornaments, Christmas trees, snowmen, and bead bracelets.
Elementary students enjoyed face painting, playing games, and decorating sugar cookies. Lunch followed and then each student was given a giant bag filled with wrapped gifts.
Thank you to adviser Theresa Brozovic and all the staff and students who helped coordinate this effort. Hundreds of gifts are purchased and wrapped. Fifteen pounds of pasta is cooked, dozens of sandwiches are made, and pizza is delivered to feed the nearly 300 students and staff who are a part of this amazing event.
This event is a wonderful example of community and collaboration as it could not happen without the volunteer hours and monetary donations given by our generous community.
