Swugly contest provides fun, giving back

Each year, staff at CFJ get creative for the Swugly Contest.

It’s simple - dig out the ugliest, most hideous sweater to wear to work. For a $5 donation, staff get to vote on who donned the ugliest sweater. This year, $190 was given to Sisters as Leaders, which was chosen by last year’s winner, Jennifer Anderson.

This year’s Swugly Award goes to Melissa McNamara, with her interpretation of a Christmas tree. As the winner she has ownership of the Swugly trophy for the year and will choose next year’s charity.

In its seventh years, this event is a wonderful example of community, giving to a charity in need that is important to our Tiger staff. Thank you, Joshua Gregory and Rebecca Tiberi, for coordinating this fun, friendly and giving competition each year!
