Professional learning focuses on co-teaching

For our special education elementary teachers, there is a wealth of information, new studies and new developments on teaching students for the most successful outcomes. Recently, these teachers participated in professional development to help them continue to help our students be successful.
John McGuire, Michael Neiman and Cheryl Foy from Futures Education spent the day with our special education elementary teachers to provide professional learning and development.

Seven years ago, Futures assisted the district in transitioning to the integrated co-teaching model that is employed at our four elementary buildings.

This session was designed to provide enhanced instructional services that align to district priorities; are responsive to the letter and spirit of educational law; align to standards of best practices, and are designed to ensure optimal student outcomes in the most efficient manner.
